The Hagana's training center in Gush Dan was in Holon. The secret base stretched around the water tower in Husmesa- today it is called David Elazar Street. Thousands of Hagana members first acquainted themselves with different kinds of weapons that were in the possession of the organization, in those deep isolated sands.
