Bet Kakal is the nickname of the Hagana's post on the Tel Aviv- Ramla- Jerusalem road. In the War of Independence, the house, located one and a half kilometers west of Bet Dagan junction, was very significant, since it overlooks main transportation arteries to Jerusalem, the southern settlements and the Jaffa - Ramla road.
