Kefar Yeladim, at the foot of mount Globe, will be remembered in the history of the Hagana mainly for two unique fields of activity, which took place there, during the 1940's: The Hebrew Guards' training of the Jewish settlements' police in a special school in the village, and a gliding school, in order to train young Jews as aviators.
