Kefar Gil'adi is a large kibbutz in the Galilee panhandle, north to Qiriat Shemona; one of the first kibbutzim in the country. It had been a center for the activities of Hashomer and Hakibbutz for many years. Served as a center of weapons purchase and hiding them in weapon caches (Slikim). In the 1930's and 1940's courses of the Hagana were conducted there, and illegal immigrants- by land- from Syria and Lebanon were brought there.
